Anhui TV Visits ENERGEE Ningguo Base to Decode Xuancheng's Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Practices

Recently, Anhui TV highlighted Xuancheng's "city-wide innovation ecosystem" by visiting Ningguo Times New Energy Co., Ltd. located in the Ningguo Economic and Technological Development Zone. As an important production base under Geely Battery Industry Group's ENERGEE, it is running with "ENERGEE speed" to demonstrate the surging momentum of China's new energy industry.

Ningguo Times New Energy Co., Ltd., established in November 2022, is a core subsidiary under Geely Battery Industry Group's ENERGEE. The project covers a total area of 522 mu (approximately 33 hectares), with a building area of about 230,000 square meters. The planned total production capacity reaches 14 GWh, supported by a 4 GWh module and PACK production line, building a complete industrial closed loop from battery cell manufacturing to system integration.

With a total investment of RMB 3 billion, the base redefined its business strategy in 20255, focusing on three key sectors: energy storage battery, passenger vehicles hybrid batteries, and commercial vehicles batteries, and fully launching the upgrading and transformation of its production lines. It aims to achieve a large-scale supply capacity of 6 GWh annual production capacity in 2026. Since the beginning of this year, the base has accelerated its pace, producing over 1.5 million Golden Brick battery cells, realizing an output value of RMB 300 million. According to the current ramp-up pace, the annual output value is expected to reach RMB 1.5 billion.

Ningguo, a city in southern Anhui renowned for its robust county-level economy, is joining forces with ENERGEE to effectively answer the "question of innovation".

From "investing" to "building an ecosystem", and from an initial 522-mu (approximately 33 hectares) layout to the rise of 230,000 square meters of modern factory facilities, Ningguo Times is not only an important chess piece on ENERGEE's map but also a strong fulcrum for Xuancheng's city-wide innovation ecosystem.
